Fate / Stay Nite

Do you watch Anime?

OK i’ve been slacking yesterday. Haha..the good thing about being self-employed yah.. You decide when to take the day off.. Hehe

Normally my little brothers would always turn on channel Animax to watch Animes from 6pm to 8pm on weekdays. A particular Anime - Fate / Stay Nite caught my eye. It is showing from 7pm to 8pm every Monday.

So instead of waiting to watch it every monday which i could not afford, i remembered in my brother’s comp has the same titles. So i made the search on his comp and i found the whole series there…Sheesh penyamun betul budak ni..So happily, i watch the whole series one by one. There were 23 episodes in total. Each took about 20-25 mins.

The show has a great a story line but it takes quite a few episodes to build up to its climax. The characters were really damn interesting. Who would have thought King Arthur would be a woman! Hercules be a big huge barbarian and hmm ok the rest of the warriors really look pretty neat too. There were lancer, archer, magicians, barbarians and so on.

FATE/STAY NIGHT ( Taken from Animax website )

In Fuyuki City, Japan, an epic struggle for the legendary Holy Grail is about to unfold. For centuries, magi have fought wars among themselves for the Holy Grail, believed to grant wishes to whoever possesses it. As the fifth Holy Grail War looms, seven sorcerers and their Servants - legendary warriors resurrected - converge on Fuyuki City for the ultimate battle royale.

Shirou Emiya is a high school kid, eager to learn magic so he can champion justice, even though it’s pretty obvious he hasn’t the talent for it. However, when Shirou accidentally stumbles upon a battle between two Servants, he is quickly drawn into their conflict for the Holy Grail. Paired with the female Servant, Saber, Shirou must take his place as the seventh and last sorcerer in a deadly war that will decide who will claim the fabled chalice. Adapted from TYPE-MOON’s phenonmenal hit game, Fate/Stay Night brings together ancient myths and modern storytelling in a dark fantasy action series like you’ve never seen before !

Do catch the show!!

Suspended Website

July 13, 2007 by Fadzuli · Leave a Comment

One of my web clients website got suspended. In this case i did not choose their hosting server, what i did was just to redesign their portal and add in some php elements to make it dynamic and easily updated.

What happened was that a hacker managed to get the email usernames and passwords. He used those email accounts to spam over 2000 people on the web. A US based ISP detected this and shut down the website until further notice. At the moment, the web hosting company is conducting investigations to trace the damn bugger!!

I hope this bugger get caught soon. It may seem irrelevant to many but the portal consist of information which customers may want to view and see. Just by shutting it down, lots of money is lost and what is worse is that they will lose hopeful clients.

May this trying times passed…

Smoking Bike

July 12, 2007 by Fadzuli · Leave a Comment

Yesterday it was the second time in my whole life that i saw my bike smoking up..

Well it did not come from the engine but it came from the radiator water which was leaking badly.

And it happen when i was in a middle of a jam coming back from JB..Fortunately, I was at the Singapore customs already.

Initially i did not realize it but the apeks and mats behind me were pointing it out.

I kind of ignore it for a while until smoke suddenly started to appear just below me…

So when that happen, i switch off the engine and now came the hardest part pushing it..Sheesh..You know how heavy an ST1100 with a full tank of 25 litres is. Madness!!! By the time i cleared the second clearance ( after custom checks ), I was already sweating all over and by then the water in the coolant was probably dried up.

Well calling the tow truck was kind of out of the way lah, so i took a risk and rode the bike probably at a 100km per hour speed to the workshop at Bendemeer. Ok by travelling at that speed, at least the fan system starts to function and the weather pretty much help a lot to cool the engine. Thank God.

At the workshop, well i always go to this mechanic, his name is Ayu - my dad and I always go to him whenever we need to service and do repairs for our bikes ever since we change from vespa to the super four, foursechs and now the ST1100..

What was the problem. Honestly after checking the whole coolant system, there isn’t any problems, no leaking pipes, no what. So what’s the problem man!!

Well Ayu pried open the whole casings of my bike and all he did was change the coolant cap, added the coolant elements and hmm that’s it. I was kind of surprised, the coolant cap was close to the engine but the leaking part was just below the seat. Eh what siah!!!

Well after enquiring Ayu about this, he said that due to problem with the coolant cap the water leaked out from the reservoir. Well he couldn’t really explain it clearly, but somehow i figured it that when the spoilt cap is too tight and it gets too hot, the right amount of air which was to be release couldn’t escape, thus the hot air eventually pushes the water out from the coolant reservoir which was under my seat.

So yup, the cap was changed and the coolant water / elements were changed and yes $40 burned…oklah its still not so bad cos every time i bring this bike in for repairs it will cost me an average of $100 to $200. So yesterday wasn’t so bad after all..
