Psychological Triggers

November 13, 2008 by Fadzuli · 4 Comments

This is another free lesson that I like to share with everyone including my students. There is a reason why I ask my students to write 5 versions for the email assignment. Now they already know how to write a proper email with the STORIES, the Affiliate link. So now why 5 versions? Infact I wanted to ask them to do 6.

Remember this article?

http://www.fadzuli.com/motivations/relationship-building/

On average, a person has to be exposed to a message six times before the message is understood.

Did you observe how I started promoting Russel’s program and my own programs? I made sure I wrote 6 articles each with different topics and at the end of the day its about signing up to this program. Have you read these articles.

Review of Zero to 100 Million Program by Russel Brunsen.

Power of Referrals

A man can change the World but he cannot do it alone.

Why am I getting 100K by June 2008 :)

THIS WILL WORK….

The Process of Creating Wealth

I have had students coming signing up and writing to me at the different points of time when the articles were release, amazingly I find out that the background of this people also differs. How I know? Well that is why the second assignment about story telling is important. I need to know who you really are, so that I can react and make changes if necessary.

At the same time as you are studying me and learning from me, I am also studying and learning from you.

So you see there are many ways to market a product/service/ideas and the lesson for today is about Psychological Triggers that make people want to get it or buy it.

So let’s Google for it and I found this on http://top7business.com/?id=666

  1. Psychological trigger #1: BE SPECIFIC

It’s important to be as specific as possible. Why! Because
it make your information more believable and credible. For
example: Don’t say that you are in your late twenties, say
that you are 28 years old or 29. Be specific! Don’t be vague!

  2. Psychological trigger #2: CURIOSITY
We are all curious! It’s human nature! So, we need to used
this trigger to attract more peoples to see or read what we
have to offer them. For example: “What is the best way to
attract loyal customers?” Are you not curious to find
    out what the answer is!

  3. Psychological trigger #3: REASON WHY

Show your prospects, subscribers or customers why they should
listen to you. Why they should buy what you are offering them.
Is it because of your “no questions ask garantee” or “your
expertise of 20 years on the subject”. Tell them, they want
    to know why!

  4. Psychological trigger #4: SCARCITY

It’s kind of funny. We are more driven by the thought of
loosing something then by the thought of gaining something.
That’s why deadlines, limited opportunities, limited production
numbers, etc. will work well. For example: ” Buy before 12:00 am
today and receive a free trip to Mexico…only 2 left…Hurry!

  5. Psychological trigger #5: FEAR

Fear is a powerful trigger. Just look at the news for example.
In the months before Y2K peoples were buying food, water,
caddles lights and lots of other products… just based on fear!
The same thing happen with war… it’s fear that controls most
    of our actions.

  6. Psychological trigger #6: ENTHUSIASM
You need to be full of positive energy about what you are doing
or selling to your prospects and clients. Without this energy
you won’t be able to transfer your message effectively. Your
sales letter will look and feel dull with no power.

  7. Psychological trigger #7: TELLING THE TRUTH
Peoples appreciate honesty. Even though sometimes it can be
painful. If you are honest and sincere, peoples will respect
you for it. Peoples always found out eventually about lies.
And when they do, all trust will be gone!

My own point..

Relations.

People are made differently and they think differently from others. Therefore they are also triggered differently.

Example. When I wrote A man can change the World but he cannot do it alone.

I wrote it just for people to understand that we cannot do it alone and to step forward as an Entrepreneur you do need to take the lead and be a Leader. So I wrote examples and use Big Names to amplify it as they are the real examples.

So who actually gets triggered by this article. People who are already in Business and people who lacks leadership abilities. People who looks up to our Prophet Muhammad, Gandhi and Alexander the Great?

Person A will relate to article A. Person B will relate to article B…You get my point right? So you see people are triggered differently because each of us have a mind of our own and we experience our lifes differently.

So now you know another SECRET….This article alone is meant to trigger your WHYS and hopefully I answered it? Psychological Trigger No 3.

Are you going to write your article now and submit to me? My students this coaching program is meant to be fun and for you to really learn the REAL stuff about Internet Business. Infact its the same as OFFLINE business. If you learn it here, you can use it there and vice versa.

I am postponing the lesson on social network to the next few weeks. We should focus on this email writing skills first and make it great!

By the way if you wish to accelerate your learning curve, why not join this workshop I’m having on the 29th & 30th of November. Click here to learn more.

Millionaire Mind Lesson 1 - The Jar System

November 11, 2008 by Fadzuli · 3 Comments

The first lesson to be rich is to learn to manage money well. If you have been reading Robert Kiyosaki’s book Rich Dad Poor Dad, the rich will be richer because of this. Money management and money set aside for their FInancial Freedom, Long Term Spending, Debts, Education, Necessities, Play & Give.

How many of us have never really gone out for Holidays? How many of us have intended to buy something but never really got it? And when you get it, you end up broke?

Happen to you?

So how can we solve this problem?

The Jar System

What is exactly the Jar System? Well its just JARs that we need to fill up and divide accordingly when we receive income.

The first Jar…

Financial Freedom Account ( 10% )
- This is the money you cannot touch except for FUTURE investments and must be very sure that the money will grow from this account. It cannot be used for spending..
- It is also your savings account.
- I would love to call this a legacy account because this is our BIG GOOSE ( I will talk about it another time ).
- This is the most IMPORTANT out of all the other JARs.
- Before you set aside for others,
YOU MUST set this aside.
- YOU MUST NEVER EVER EVER EVER…I SAY NEVER EVER TAKE THE MONEY OUT!
- Set aside 10% every month for this.

Debt Account ( 5% )

- At any point of time in our lives, we will have debts. Debts to families, credit card debts or anything else. - - This will help you pay back your debts consistently. You have to set aside a sum for it else you will find yourself always in debt.
- Set aside 5% every month for this.

Long Term Account ( 5% )

- Want to buy your LCD TV? Buy your Dream Car? Buy your Dream House? Go for that Family Holiday? All this requires a certain form of capital right?
- I would like to call this my Dream Account too..Without it its difficult to attain the things you want.
- I realise I tend to make excuses for not being able to travel because I’ve never really set aside money for it..So my target is to travel the world by January 2010. So I need this account up badly!!
- Set aside 5% every month for this.

Are you still with me here? Now come the next MOST important Account!

Its YOUR EDUCATION.

Education Account ( 10% )
- Like it or not whether you are a kid or an adult, education is very important right? Times are changing and technology is evolving so fast. You need to learn and learn all the time, there is no end to that and this requires funds too!
- To buy books, attend classes, attend courses, attend seminars, to buy CDs. All this requires money. So let set aside for your own personal growth.
- A Person’s Capacity to learn is unlimited. If people tell you they can’t go back to school and learn. They are freaking lying to themselves because by doing so we are limiting our beliefs and limiting our potential. Just like the Hard drives today, its keeps growing in size…We too need to keep that storage open and go learn and learn…
- When you are stop learning you might as well be DEAD. SO DONT STOP LEARNING!
- Set aside 10% every month for this.

Necessity Account ( 55% )

- This is where you use this money to buy or pay for what is necessary. Your Bills, your Food, your Transportation, Mortgage, Rentals, your Clothes and so on.

Play Account ( 10% )

- I make a mistake of not having this also.. I hardly enjoy the money I make because it comes and go and hardly there’s nothing left for pleasures. So let’s set aside for Cinemas, your Favorite DVDs, Flowers for your Partner or anything that will make you happy!!! Ooh yah your branded stuff comes from this category!!

Things that make you happy!!!
- Set aside  10% for this.

and Finally

Its better to be in a position to Give then to RECEIVE

Give Account ( 5% )

- I believe that I mention this so many times before…When you give somehow GOD will show you more opportunities, reward you with more and more things. Abang Abu said this before, “When you invest in the All Mighty many rewards will come to you…Miracles will happen from time to time…Its Just MAGIC”.

Believe it or not…that happened to me all the time.

So now we know the THEORY! Let’s put it in practise…This is what I did yesterday after closing a deal and get paid for a past job…

My Own version of the Jar Calculator
Download the excel spread sheet. Click here to download the Excel Spreadsheet

I’m giving you this spreadsheet so that you can practise it yourself. I will be coming out with a video later cos I can only record the video later in the office.. So for now look at the images on how to insert the numbers.

In my case I have two sets of Jars. One for Business and one for Personal. Eh wait how come you have two?

Don’t MIX your Business Funds with your Personal Funds. That will be detrimental to your success because your BUSINESS is also an entity. It also require its FREEDOM account and the other components. For the business side, the only difference is the NECESSITY GROUP, I added sub division such as My SALARY, Marketing Funds and OTHERs ( Rentals, Transport… ).

NEVER EVER ..I SAY NEVER EVER MIX YOUR PERSONAL FUNDS AND BUSINESS FUNDS.

I made that mistake and that shorten my growth! I could have grown much much faster if I have done this earlier…

So if you are doing a PART TIME BUSINESS or  YOUR OWN BUSINESS consider doing this. If you have two or more business. SEPARATE THEM ALL!
Punching the NUMBERS..

All the precalculations are already done. All you have to do is punch the numbers into the Yellow Boxes. So from there you can see how much needs to be allocated to each Account.

Need to make more columns?

Just highlight the columns as shown above and copy it to the next column. All the calculations should be intact unless you did paste it at the wrong place. Just UNDO and do it all over again. :)

Click to enlarge above image… See how the salary from the Business Jar is transfered to the Personal Jar..

Well I hope after learning this today. You have a better idea on how to use this JAR SYSTEM to set you FREE from Financial and Unhappy moments…

This process require discipline and you need to practise this in REALITY. My suggestions is to use Jars. If you dont have Jars, use Tins boxes or you can be like me I use ENVELOPES to start with.

So let’s do this together and practise what we learn!! All the best to making millions and billions..

The Millionaire Mindset - Becoming a student again….

November 10, 2008 by Fadzuli · 1 Comment

How you do anything is how you do everything..
- T Harv Eker

What a wonderful 3 days it has been. You know I came into seminar BROKE but I came out with millions and even BILLIONS of dollars in my head… I tell you this seminar is worth the MONEY!

On the first day that I came, I saw a huge huge crowd at the registration centre. Initially I wondered what is going on! The place was like an ARMY recruitment center…Really people were like ants moving and queing up in so many lines…. After joining a line, I realise I was in the wrong queue because we were suppose to follow our ticket numbers…

I was impressed! You know why? Because someone from another queue told me that..haha.. The ushers on that day was really overwhelmed by the numbers and it was hard to control but the masses actually help them out…

Now….here’s the first lesson that Millions of people cannot see or understand..

When you ask for something…you get answered.. It does not matter whether it comes from the Ushers or the Masses. As long you get answered that’s it! Be grateful else I would waste my time until I reach the registration booth knowing that I was in the wrong queue.  So first lesson here…Set your IntentionsGod will answer you directly or indirectly! Furthermore I made a new friend there because I bothered to ask! :)

There are no strangers in this world except friends you have not met..

I was more amazed when I entered the Hall….Do you know how many people were there?  Everyone say 5,000…What?

5,000

Are you listening to me? Imagine this… $267 x 5,000 = $1,335,000. What the FISH!!! You know even though I get the tickets free but Oh MY God!!! It was like AMWAY in Jakarta all over again man! The crowd itself got my attention!! I want to know how T. Harv Eker did it man! How did SUCCESS RESOURCES do it! So for that 3 days I became a student again and I told myself that I will respect this guy, put myself into 100% mode and bring back this knowledge and insyallah practise it….I have another mentor in my list…

I was already sold out just by looking at the crowd….  This man and this organisation is really something! Thank you for the event, thank you for the knowledge that you have shared Harv and Keron ( Keron is the Co-Speaker )… So for the next few days or perhaps weeks, I will do my best to post information of what I’ve learned and share with you…

Two Mentor Jutawan

November 7, 2008 by Fadzuli · 1 Comment

Last Tuesday, I had the opportunity to sit down with 2 Mentor Jutawans in Singapore, Sujmy Mohd ( Screenbox) and who else Abang Abu lah..heh. This was a catch session for both of them and learning session for me. To tell you the truth I was more quiet that I used when meeting people. i guess its out of respect and I want to hear more from them than I would want to be the one talking..

Entrepreneurial Kits

Just let me leak some info to you. hehe. Both of them are in the plans of creating entreprenuerial kits to help create and push our people into entrepreneurships…. Either its in the form of CDs, books and so on. So this will be more like a joint venture between these two teachers. One a super Coach in Financial and Entrepreneurship and the other a Media Giant who have ready distribution points, knowledge and access to CD shops, TV advertisements and more.. Its really leveraging on each other strong areas.

You can advertise $1000 but yet get $10,000 worth of airtime..

That line caught my attention when Sujimy mention it…”You need to know the right contacts and know how to do it”….. In any industry there is this thing called the WHOLESALERS! These are the people who buy in BULK and resell it at smaller prices because they can get it cheap! So you see you can advertise in TV at lower costs yet get so much value from it.. Well if you are interested in advertising through TV and reach a large audience you can contact and consult Mr Sujimy’s company.. Screenbox

So now let’s wait for the actions and the timeline…I hear productions will start somewhere late January next year..So let’s wait for an exciting year ahead…

Entrepreneurs Happy problems

Sujimy sounded this off and perhaps this is a very good learning lesson. Of all the people who he send down to market his services, very few of them could close sales but when he goes down personally. More often the deals gets closed. This is actually a dilemma for him because if that is to be so, he would need to be in the game for a long run.

Perhaps from here on he needs to learn from TRUMP or the bigger Companies on how to deal with such matters.  How do deals get close without you being there..

In fact I’m having that problem too but compare to Sujimy’s problem I can rectify it now. For example when I go down meet people to close sales, its always me doing it. How about Fadzrun my marketing director, he should also be able to do it. Well here we cannot compare you see, I’m trained in several areas that he does not and he comes from the theory world that has yet to be practised. So the problem is I cannot duplicate myself and people trust me more than other people. So how does a CEO handle and trust his Marketeers to handle the problem?

All I can figure out now is to empower the directors from the start. Get them to sell, get them to connect get them to be BUSINESS people.

Abang Abu Father

The good thing about having a mentor is that we seem to share a lot of things and stories. One of the stories Abang Abu shared was about his father…

When Abang Abu was in his teens he had no idea why his father would jump from opening one shop to another shop. End up some of them had to close and he had to re-open it again and again. So his father explained to him one day that going into Business is not about YOURSELF and the money, its about creating LIVELIHOODs for more people. So for example, the moment you open another shop, you create 8 more jobs and you are RESPONSIBLE of feeding 8 families. So the more shops you open you create more jobs for them and insyallah blessing will come in several forms.

Sounds scary right?

So how many of you before embarking into Business have such thoughts? You will be responsible of many lives ahead of you? Well maybe not when you are small but do you have that vision of expansion and growing bigger?

Some thoughts for you to ponder on… :)

I’m off for the seminar at EXPO!

Lessons on PPC Marketing

November 3, 2008 by Fadzuli · 1 Comment

Among plenty of Internet Business models, PPC marketing is a very fast way of earning money but this requires extensive knowledge in this niche area. I guess all Business requires extensive knowledge of each field to really become good and successful at it.

Last Sunday, I went down for T2002 Meeting organised by Melvin Tan and Ben @ Kembangan Plaza… The session was quite an eye opener cos I’m not really into this niche.  Ben being one of the experts have been earning 5 figure income lately through his campaigns in this niche. I find him quite amazing and he’s only in the early 20’s.

Sitting down in that lesson, started to get me to see the potential of this PPC marketing to be implemented in the programs I have. There were certain terms that I was quite unfamiliar with like Quality Scores but I soon got a hang of it.

Without doubt this method does make lots of money but it does not have that relationship element in it. Because the business model is just meant to make money, it does not focus on building people, building relationships, connect to your readers. Several business rules cannot apply here also like the 20-80 rule that I mention all the time.

So perhaps once I learn and master some of it, I can integrate it into my coaching program later on because there’s the paid advertising part which I love and the out reach is ridiculously great.

Apparently today I’ve received a subscribed email from Yaro Starak about this guy who made a million dollars creating blogs on the FLY. Heard of Blogging to the Bank 3.0?

This is something similar to Ben PPC program. Basicly what they do is that they see a trend, they create a blog to it, outsource articles, have several affiliates products in those blogs and use PPC tactics to drive traffic.

Whether they are passionate about the topics or not, they don’t really care. The objective is to make money.

The downside of such programs is that it does not become TIMELESS. For PPC you do have to monitor the trends and you need to keep creating blogs over and over again.

I tell you I tried creating and running several blogs at one time but it does not work as well as focusing on one. Building your readers, your fans. Perhaps I’m still old school thinking any way I will keep an open mind learning about the new stuff that Ben or Blogging to the Bank 3.0 have to offer.

By the way Melvin have free online tutorials to those who wish to learn about PPC marketing. Check it out in this blog http://intense-marketing.com/sg-t202/

Jing Project

Heard about this project? Well this open source project by Tech Smith is really wonderful. Tech Smith are creators of Camtasia - the award winning screen capture software

Open Source are free to use softwares and can be developed further by third party vendors.  So programmers and developers have a look at it yah.

For teachers and online gurus this is really a wonderful opportunity to create tons of screen capture videos for your online audiences.

Click here to see a demo video I created.

I got to know this while watching Russel Brunsons video yesterday. It pays to follow him on twitter. :)

Email Marketing ..

October 31, 2008 by Fadzuli · Leave a Comment

Ok this tutorial took me about 3 hours plus to write amids all the distractions I had.  So this tutorial focuses very much on the ethics of email marketing and I revealed a few tactics that helped me build my list faster that the usual Joe and further more keep the traffic flow to this website on going.

Basicly all I did is combine Gmail and the Viral Inviter software together. You will be surprised how the different tools available on the internet can be integrated together to achieve maximum results.

This time I’m opening up the email not just to my students but to all to see what’s actually being taught in there….

http://www.fadzuli.com/internetCode/EmailMarketing.php

So if you are keen to learn more click the banner below, read through what is up for you and write in to me if you are interested. I only take students that are really interested in running their own Internet Business. So are you the one?

It’s been quite a busy week

October 30, 2008 by Fadzuli · 2 Comments

After an EXPO the recovery phase is kind of hectic too. Took the whole day off last Tuesday and yesterday I had to go around settling the payments and stuff.

Just like to share with you guys what we went through….

Perhaps these are the mistakes that we made that you can learn from..

1) Not understanding the Consumer mindset..
2) Being in the wrong place for the wrong product.
3) Capital Intensive.

Initially we only needed to do Advertising and Promotion via Flyers during that event. But given the chance to have a booth at a very discounted price, I asked myself why not?

So we opened a booth promoting OSMS CallBack Cards (www.eazycalls.net) and Abang Abu’s books.

Mistake No1: Not understanding the Consumer mindset..

This was the gravest mistake that we made. Initially we thought that the people that would come for the EXPO would be those that would want to look into new products, to learn about money management (Abang Abu’s books) and wish to know more about savings.

We were totally wrong… Most of the consumers that went down there were either looking for clothes or food and for some they went down only for the talks and shows. Majority were just passing through.

Very few were interested in Technology products and new media stuff that we were promoting.

So that brings me to the next point.

Mistake No2: Being in the wrong place for the wrong product..

The nature of our business. Well firstly Islamicevents.sg is an online portal and we didn’t exactly hit our targeted marketed correctly. All the three services that we had require extensive explaination before people could really understand it.

We could have thought of having to sell products that only requires little explainations with fast  transactions and products which people really need. Hmmm.

Mistake No3: Capital Intensive

Fortunately for us, Fadzrun and I had forsee the worst case scenarios. We did manage to capture a few loans before the EXPO in case sales target were not met but we made quite a lot of judgemental errors too. Due to the factors above, we made quite significant losses.

For that 4 days we made too little sales to cover the costs of our expenditure, therefore making losses which amounts to 1-2 projects to offset it.

Mistake No4: Let’s stick to one niche at a time..

Having one booth with three services could kill you. There are times that we did not know what to promote even though it gives the visitors some variety to choose from.

Lessons to learn..

Ok so before we embark on having a booth at EXPO or anywhere, it is important to know and study the characteristics of people coming and the other businesses that’s there. Its hard to get this information before hand but roughly from EXPO to EXPO we could have learn this.

Besides having products with heavy information and explaination. Perhaps we need to have products which are easy to sell where they can buy it off the shelves but related to our niche. This would help in paying for the expenses.

Perhaps we could have totally sold of the booth to another vendor and take a small portion to keep our stores.

Nasi dah jadi bubur… Let’s learn from it and move on..

Credit or Debit Cards.

October 27, 2008 by Fadzuli · 2 Comments

Do you have a credit or debit card?

I realise that a lot of people who wants to do Internet Business but they don’t own a Credit Card or a Debit Card. Then how do you make transactions on the Internet then.

Well you may have fears about getting a credit card because you may be afraid of getting into debt. Well if so why not get a Debit card then?

What’s the difference between a credit card and a debit card?

Credit Card.

When you apply for the a credit card. The Bank will give you credit up to a certain limit depending on your monthly income. There are cards that have very low limits while others that requires you to submit your pay slips and so on.

Example. You are given $500 spending limit. It means that you can borrow the bank up to $500 and you do need to pay back within a certain time period too else you will incur interest charges that can amount to 25% to 30% per annum depending on the bank.

For those of you who worry about not being able to pay back the money, please consider using a debit card then.

Debit Card

The debit card works similarly to your ATM card or in Singapore they called it NETs. It also works like a credit card because you are given the 16 digit code and the security code behind the card. You can use it to make online payments and pay for your products.

Unlike the credit card, the debit card immediately deducts the amount you purchase from your Bank. Therefore you do not need to worry about amounting debts later on.

How to apply?

Drop by your nearest bank and ask for “DEBIT card”. Most banks these days provide this facility.

What comes around goes around…

I’ve always tell this to my students…

If you wish to make money on the internet, then you must also build the culture of spending on the internet itself. When you do so and educate others to do this, others will also begin to follow.

Spend wisely…

Unlike shopping at the mall, you need to be physically there to spend the money. Being in the virtual world called the internet, you tend to be tempted to buy every single product and package that is available in the websites too. So PLEASE spend on what you can afford.

You are what you spend..

If you do have problems, please consult a financial manager and ask them about how to spend and manage your money better.
