Do you have a credit or debit card?
I realise that a lot of people who wants to do Internet Business but they don’t own a Credit Card or a Debit Card. Then how do you make transactions on the Internet then.
Well you may have fears about getting a credit card because you may be afraid of getting into debt. Well if so why not get a Debit card then?
What’s the difference between a credit card and a debit card?
Credit Card.
When you apply for the a credit card. The Bank will give you credit up to a certain limit depending on your monthly income. There are cards that have very low limits while others that requires you to submit your pay slips and so on.
Example. You are given $500 spending limit. It means that you can borrow the bank up to $500 and you do need to pay back within a certain time period too else you will incur interest charges that can amount to 25% to 30% per annum depending on the bank.
For those of you who worry about not being able to pay back the money, please consider using a debit card then.
Debit Card
The debit card works similarly to your ATM card or in Singapore they called it NETs. It also works like a credit card because you are given the 16 digit code and the security code behind the card. You can use it to make online payments and pay for your products.
Unlike the credit card, the debit card immediately deducts the amount you purchase from your Bank. Therefore you do not need to worry about amounting debts later on.
How to apply?
Drop by your nearest bank and ask for “DEBIT card”. Most banks these days provide this facility.
What comes around goes around…
I’ve always tell this to my students…
If you wish to make money on the internet, then you must also build the culture of spending on the internet itself. When you do so and educate others to do this, others will also begin to follow.
Spend wisely…
Unlike shopping at the mall, you need to be physically there to spend the money. Being in the virtual world called the internet, you tend to be tempted to buy every single product and package that is available in the websites too. So PLEASE spend on what you can afford.
You are what you spend..
If you do have problems, please consult a financial manager and ask them about how to spend and manage your money better.
Are you reading?
Dr Irfan Khairi tanya kepada Dr Fadzilah Kamsah:
Saya rasa pendengar di luar sana dan saya juga ingin mengetahui agaknya dalam sebulan berapa buah buku Dato baca?
Translation:
Dr Irfan asked Dr Fadzilah Kamsah:
We want to know how many books do you read in a month?
I will target to buy 10 books per month. On average I finish reading 3-4 books per week.
My points:
Wow 10 books per month. Haha I have trouble reading a book in two weeks so how do they do it and why read so much. You see these people are already millionaires and yet they still read so much! Wait when I say read, I meant reading books not magazines, not online articles, not newspapers. So if you add up all that, these guys are reading a lot!!
So why? In this day and age, you need to stay knowledgeable and always stay ahead of others. Azizi Ali once said in his book, if you want to do better than others, you have to do things that others don’t do. So when others read 3-4 books per week, you need to read 5 books per week to stay ahead of this people.
Ok its beginning to sound extreme right? Well that’s the point I’m getting to. If you want to be great you have to be extreme.
So what if people like me cannot read so much in a week?
Ok trust me if you cannot finish reading one book per month. i doubt you can finish reading 5 books in this short time. This also requires discipline and practise.
One of the most valueable advise I’ve gotten is to start with easy ones first. Start with short books like those e-book, 10-20 pages. Get used to reading first and make it a habit. Then once you are used to it, you realise that you are reading much faster. Then pick up thicker books.
Similar to exercise, this needs scheduling too. If you are the type that’s always busy running around like me, then my advise is to carry the book with you and when you have in between breaks or waiting for someone to use that time to read.

Sharing knowledge

Sometimes I have this perception that if you want to know more you have to pay but I also forgot that when I give you more you will also be someone who would trust me….
Again this tip is from Dr Fadzilah Kamsah.
…. saya juga memesan kepada anak-anak saya perihal membaca dengan niat untuk menyampaikan kepada orang lain, maka Allah akan berikan kepada kita kefahaman yang luar biasa dan ingatan yang luar biasa
Translation: Have intentions of sharing the knowledge with others when you read. When you do so God will give you extraordinary memory and in depth understanding of the materials you are reading.
I remember during my polytechnic days, I was teaching what I was learning and reading to my friend, Calvin who came from ITE and was struggling to learn then. Therefore whenever we learn something new, we would bounce our knowledge off each other and hence we understood and remember that knowledge much much better. I believe most of you whom went through a buddy buddy study system would benefit from this also. So that shows that when you have the intentions of sharing, you will become a much much extraordinary person.
So today the way I bump my internet business ideas are slightly different, usually its with my business partners and Bro Hafihz therefore I share it here in my blog for my students to read or for anyone out there who may accidently find my blog.
Then you may wonder if I give you so much information, then how do I benefit from it? Well firstly the knowledge I pass on to you is from what I read and if you don’t practice it or apply it, then you would not benefit fully from it. You still need to refer to practisioners like us.
So do you want to know what I’m reading now? I want to recommend to you Yaro Starak - a six figure blogger - http://www.entrepreneurs-journey.com/. I’m currently reading his 50 plus page free e-book, “Blog Profits Blueprint”.
So why do we read so much? Well that you have to wait for tomorrow. So keep coming back yah.
