Smart Seminar Day 2 Part 2

Another half a day of enriching content. The last article we talk about Donna Fox and, Stuart and Simon Leung’s programs. So today I’ll be sharing on two more talks.

Lee & Robin Collins.

They are a really cute couple and I think they are the most happening Speakers then. They are always laughing and having fun. You know when you see people excited about something, you too become excited and that is how we need to run our businesses in Singapore. Come on, let’s make Business a FUN thing to do yah.

Ok back to topic. Lee and Robin specializes in Hybrid Marketing. Hybrid Marketing is a combination of ONLINE and OFFLINE business. To think of it I’ve been doing that all this while. Most of my business comes from OFFLINE sales but they had very good valid points ..

So their story was Lee ( the husband ), was messing and exploring with Internet Marketing materials and he end up spending like USD $50,000 worth of e-books resources and stuff. Everytime they do that, they are taking away their children funds, their own pocket money and so on. So Lee needed to change.

5 SECRET KEYWORDS - I want to make MONEY

From the moment you start a business, your objective should be clear. YOU MUST WANT TO MAKE MONEY. I don’t think you want to go into a business that does not make money right? So here comes the next point.

Lee went into niches that he taught people would love to do but in his efforts just like many of us, they failed in their attempts to even break even with those niches. So the real mistake is that they or we never thought about how the CONSUMER would think. Is the product in demand in the first place?

So first lesson today.. 

When you are starting a business, find a RABID market.  Its not RABIT yah its RABID - meaning there’s already demand for the services or product that you have. So their advice is to find a market that is in demand and make money from it. You will soon learn to love what we are doing and the passion builds up from there. in fact, they said they grew into the business and became passionate about what they are selling. How cool is that?

So for those who still have no idea what business to do. My suggestion is to go out there and explore and try it out and do it. Salleh Marican from Golden Chance Singapore says this, “YOU HAVE TO LIVE IN THE JUNGLE TO KNOW WHAT THE JUNGLE IS LIKE”.

Second Lesson - WHAT WORKS ONLINE CAN WORK OFFLINE

Sometimes we focus too much on online income, we end forgetting that we can actually earn income off line. To tell you the truth, the FORMULA to a SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS are very generic and can be implemented over and over again ONLINE and OFFLINE. There’s no secret to it.

This is the FRAMEWORK that I can tell you now. A SECRET which is not a SECRET

PRODUCT/SERVICE -> MARKET -> CUSTOMERS -> REFERRALS -> MAKE IMPROVEMENTS -> REPEAT CYCLE AGAIN.

Sounds simple? It is actually that simple.

The other speaker - Making things easy

To be honest I wasn’t really paying attention to this speaker cos I can’t remember his name. We are all HUMAN, we can’t be awake all the time..hehehe.

So I’ll just summarise what he said. Go and Solve PEOPLE’s problem and make it easy for them. You want to be rich? Go and help people, the more people people you help, the richer you get. That is why the OUTSOURCING industry is so rampant now. 

A lot of business with small niches are thriving because they can provide solutions that many others cannot do. So to make your life easier OUTSOURCE.

Don’t know how to create a website - Outsource to a web designer or if you want more complex websites, you can find people like me who are infact WEB DEVELOPERs, some call us WEB ARCHITECTs.

My online video domination have started just by this guy introducing me to this service. I guess its the right time man and I have tons of videos to put up.  I saw this advertisements months back and perhaps I wasn’t ready to use it back then. ( We’ll talk about this soon… )

I have uploaded over 15 videos the last two days and imagine it being distributed over 50 sites with just a press of a button. I can tell you this, it makes a lot of difference in MARKETING man! Even though the setup is quite tedious but that is only one time WORK. The rest is easy.

Smart Seminar 2nd Day - Part 1

Alright its been quite a hectic three days. I’ve been uploading images, videos and I got myself a 30 day trial to the Traffic Geyser system and its AWESOME!! Yesterday and today alone, I’ve submitted around 5 videos and if you go to YOUTUBE you already see my videos dominating it when you type SMART SEMINAR. The traffic Geyser is really worth the money.

Ok anyway let’s start with day 2.

It started out with Stuart and Simon demonstrating on how to create a simple blog, get a click bank code and stuff. Basic stuff where you can learn from my course too..

Simon then revealed a small secret which is not REALLY a secret.. Hmm i tend to use those words so many time huh..”A SECRET WHICH IS NOT REALLY A SECRET” . Being a former employee of Google, Simon knows the ins and outs of the Google system and hence the secret is..

“USE Google Systems”

Why is that? If you want to have a high rank search on Google, use Google’s systems - use GMAIL, post to Blogger.com, post a video to YOUTUBE, get Bookmarks at Google Bookmarks and many more. 

Sounds logical right. For example in real life, if you use my products and help to tell people about it, would I give you more attention. Its the same here. Google favours or are bias towards people who use their tools and they will give their users first priority. Understood?

Its the same as YAHOO or any other SEARCH Mechanisms, if you use their system they are more willing to rank you higher.

How you do that is another STORY, you can either sign up for Simon’s classes or beg me to teach you to use all those tools..haha..ok just joking. For myself I have a few combinations. I use MULTIPLY + BLOGGER + ADD THIS to make my content distribution faster! So even though I’ve hardly use my old blogspot, but I still have distributed content that drives people to FADZULI.com.. Cool right. You want to know how I do that? Well that you have to be part of my FREE E-COACHING course.

I’m also using TRAFFIC GEYSER now. So more YOUTUBE traffic.. WOHOOOOO! It’s worth SGD $140 per month but what the heck, its unlimited traffic man.

You must meet this lady. Just by listening to her, now I know why this young entrepreneur DIANA SABRAIN can make so much money at 20 years old for SEXY Marketing techniques. An AWESOME angle.

TARGET TO WOMEN and have some NEUTRAL positioning..

Why is that so?

What women buys usually the men will buy too because they are pursuaded by the wives or girlfriends..haha and let’s understand this, WOMEN also moves the ECONOMY! Believe it or not this is actually a true fact. The economy thrives because of spendings. SO the ladies love do this right spend their money, the guys only know how to HOARD their money. Ok wait i have to put a disclaimer here..IT DOES NOT APPLY TO EVERYONE - this only apply GENERALLY to the MASSES. 

Raise your hands if you love to go shopping. I know only the ladies will do that right? hehe.. Guys bear with me for a while and take down notes.

So you see this speaker is a top Internet Marketeer in this AREA and I believe she’s a consultant to many other Copywriters and Internet Marketeers because she can change the way how you look at things and with these methods your business profit margin can sky rocket up to 600%. I almost fall off my seat when I saw the figures.

Let me share with you an ANOLOGY. If you ask a guy to go to a shopping center to buy a specific product. What a guy would do is that he will go into that shopping center, get the product, make the purchase and out he go and that is only 1 product sale.

BUT a woman is different. And let me tell you this. SHOPPING CENTERs are their haven and did you know how the SHOPPING CENTERs / SUPERMARKETs are design and position are targeted to woman. When a woman goes into the shopping center, she will find the product, but her thoughts will be different, she will end up thinking - “Eh I need that”, then she will grab it and you know what at the end of that she will end up buying 2-3 more things. So you see how the profit margin triples or quadruple?

Heard of this book, men are from MARs and women are from VENUS. Ok honestly I have never read that book but all i know is that men and women are not built the same way. Our Psychological senses are so different that at times we - men can’t understand women and vice versa.

Smart Seminar - 1st Day

This seminar is awesome. Even though there are only 300 attendees, what really impress me was the line up of Internet Marketing Gurus! OMG!!! Never before have I seen so many of them all in one place. Usually I would see them separately on their sites and not in real person. It was like meeting your HEROES in real life…

What was great is that it was so easy to talk to these MILLIONAIRES. There were like all over the place  man. You can like choose and pick, shake hands and dig some secrets from them.. We tried lah..haha.

By the way today we have two great speakers. 

First Speaker was Michael Koenigs, Co-Founder of TrafficGeyser.com

He covered topics on Sales Funnel, Media Distribution and 10×10x4.. Awesome theories that wowed me.

His product the TrafficGeyser is really superb. It just amazes me how these guys could create the systems cos from a Programmer’s view its quite complex to create such a service as you are required to write codes that requires you to access several Social Bookmarking, Videos sites within ONE CLICK. This software really could bring in tons of TRAFFIC. Really cool stuff.

Furthermore I got the chance to volunteer as he was looking for someone who already have a business. So Mike did an impromptu demonstration on how to create simple videos and and at the same time FOCUS on getting me to answer questions fast. The idea: Get your message out FAST and get to the Answers within 30 secs. Many times we tend to beat around the bush. So creating video promotion requires straight to the point content. 

He also covered on education ideas. Not necessarily that you need to give them FREE. You can trade with people your name and email to allow you to build your list. 

 

The second speaker was Stephen Pierce. This guy is a motivational cum Internet Marketing Guru. I think Saiful from asksaiful.com would love to meet him. Stephen drop out of school in his teens and he went to become a bad kid. There was one time he got shot and from then on his life turn around but he had more challenges too. At one time he was also HOMELESS..

Ok its kind of a long story but I want you to see how dynamic this guy is. Just look at this vide below. 

 

That’s Eusof & Andy

Later that day we met And. This guy is the MAN. I’m telling you that he is really the MAN. Eusof, Affandi and I were talking to him for hours. He could just go on and on and he gave us so many ideas and he answered all the questions. Goodness. Unlike some of the Gurus there, Andy was not interested in selling he’s the Abang Abu kind of person. Someone who is willing to help and MONEY was not the main priority. His advises were really sound. How I wish I could just have a 1 hour Interview with him. Really very very humble man. I think everyone should meet him.

Ok the second day will be more exciting as topics like Business Structures, Marketing to Women, Hybrid Marketing and Marketing Made Easy will be discussed. I’m really looking forward to Hybrid Marketing as I’ve been creating several ones myself so I want to learn more you see.

Millionaire Mind Lesson 1 - The Jar System

The first lesson to be rich is to learn to manage money well. If you have been reading Robert Kiyosaki’s book Rich Dad Poor Dad, the rich will be richer because of this. Money management and money set aside for their FInancial Freedom, Long Term Spending, Debts, Education, Necessities, Play & Give.

How many of us have never really gone out for Holidays? How many of us have intended to buy something but never really got it? And when you get it, you end up broke? 

Happen to you?

So how can we solve this problem?

The Jar System

What is exactly the Jar System? Well its just JARs that we need to fill up and divide accordingly when we receive income.

The first Jar…

Financial Freedom Account ( 10% )
- This is the money you cannot touch except for FUTURE investments and must be very sure that the money will grow from this account. It cannot be used for spending..
- It is also your savings account.
- I would love to call this a legacy account because this is our BIG GOOSE ( I will talk about it another time ). 
- This is the most IMPORTANT out of all the other JARs.
- Before you set aside for others, YOU MUST set this aside.
- YOU MUST NEVER EVER EVER EVER…I SAY NEVER EVER TAKE THE MONEY OUT!
- Set aside 10% every month for this.   

Debt Account ( 5% )

- At any point of time in our lives, we will have debts. Debts to families, credit card debts or anything else. - - This will help you pay back your debts consistently. You have to set aside a sum for it else you will find yourself always in debt.
- Set aside 5% every month for this.    

Long Term Account ( 5% )

- Want to buy your LCD TV? Buy your Dream Car? Buy your Dream House? Go for that Family Holiday? All this requires a certain form of capital right? 
- I would like to call this my Dream Account too..Without it its difficult to attain the things you want.
- I realise I tend to make excuses for not being able to travel because I’ve never really set aside money for it..So my target is to travel the world by January 2010. So I need this account up badly!!
- Set aside 5% every month for this. 

 

Are you still with me here? Now come the next MOST important Account!

Its YOUR EDUCATION.

Education Account ( 10% )
- Like it or not whether you are a kid or an adult, education is very important right? Times are changing and technology is evolving so fast. You need to learn and learn all the time, there is no end to that and this requires funds too!
- To buy books, attend classes, attend courses, attend seminars, to buy CDs. All this requires money. So let set aside for your own personal growth.
- A Person’s Capacity to learn is unlimited. If people tell you they can’t go back to school and learn. They are freaking lying to themselves because by doing so we are limiting our beliefs and limiting our potential. Just like the Hard drives today, its keeps growing in size…We too need to keep that storage open and go learn and learn…
- When you are stop learning you might as well be DEAD. SO DONT STOP LEARNING!
- Set aside 10% every month for this.      

Necessity Account ( 55% ) 

- This is where you use this money to buy or pay for what is necessary. Your Bills, your Food, your Transportation, Mortgage, Rentals, your Clothes and so on.
 

Play Account ( 10% )

- I make a mistake of not having this also.. I hardly enjoy the money I make because it comes and go and hardly there’s nothing left for pleasures. So let’s set aside for Cinemas, your Favorite DVDs, Flowers for your Partner or anything that will make you happy!!! Ooh yah your branded stuff comes from this category!!

Things that make you happy!!!
- Set aside  10% for this.

and Finally 

 

Its better to be in a position to Give then to RECEIVE

Give Account ( 5% )

- I believe that I mention this so many times before…When you give somehow GOD will show you more opportunities, reward you with more and more things. Abang Abu said this before, “When you invest in the All Mighty many rewards will come to you…Miracles will happen from time to time…Its Just MAGIC”. 

Believe it or not…that happened to me all the time. 

So now we know the THEORY! Let’s put it in practise…This is what I did yesterday after closing a deal and get paid for a past job…

I’m giving you this spreadsheet so that you can practise it yourself. I will be coming out with a video later cos I can only record the video later in the office.. So for now look at the images on how to insert the numbers.

In my case I have two sets of Jars. One for Business and one for Personal. Eh wait how come you have two?

Don’t MIX your Business Funds with your Personal Funds. That will be detrimental to your success because your BUSINESS is also an entity. It also require its FREEDOM account and the other components. For the business side, the only difference is the NECESSITY GROUP, I added sub division such as My SALARY, Marketing Funds and OTHERs ( Rentals, Transport… ).

NEVER EVER ..I SAY NEVER EVER MIX YOUR PERSONAL FUNDS AND BUSINESS FUNDS. 

I made that mistake and that shorten my growth! I could have grown much much faster if I have done this earlier…

So if you are doing a PART TIME BUSINESS or  YOUR OWN BUSINESS consider doing this. If you have two or more business. SEPARATE THEM ALL!
Punching the NUMBERS..

All the precalculations are already done. All you have to do is punch the numbers into the Yellow Boxes. So from there you can see how much needs to be allocated to each Account. 

Need to make more columns?

Just highlight the columns as shown above and copy it to the next column. All the calculations should be intact unless you did paste it at the wrong place. Just UNDO and do it all over again.

Well I hope after learning this today. You have a better idea on how to use this JAR SYSTEM to set you FREE from Financial and Unhappy moments…

This process require discipline and you need to practise this in REALITY. My suggestions is to use Jars. If you dont have Jars, use Tins boxes or you can be like me I use ENVELOPES to start with.

So let’s do this together and practise what we learn!! All the best to making millions and billions..
