    This is one of the secrets that Large Companies don’t tell and they keep this information without you knowing it. 

    Yesterday I got an SMS from Hafihz telling us that he is on a garage sale. OK not really a garage sale.. more like a second hand book sale asking us if we wanted to buy this books from authors like Seth Godin, Trump and so on.

    Just from one SMS you can tell that he knows who to send the SMS to and to whom he needs to sell to. This is called targeted marketing. 

    Yes I end up ordering one of the books cos the price is a steal compared to buying at Amazon and paying for the ridiculous delivery fees.

    Its very important in understanding your customers’ interests. So how do we get to that. Of course through your coversation, questions and answers, subscription forms, surveys and so on.

    Every person you meet, you can already make a mental note. Hey he/she might like this and that. So by the time you go back home, type their name in an Excel Spreadsheet and categorise them by interests group.

    You’ll be surprised by how common people are towards certain interests.  

    So make a point to meet people every day and perhaps observe all this during your conversation. Definitely when you have a good product out there, you will make a sale.
