Part of runnning a business is always trying to get new leads and new friends and expand our network from time to time.
So what can we do to start doing all that. How about attending events? Its really a good way to network with new people and get to know how diverse our culture is in Singapore.
Defnitely in different events you will see some similar faces but usually 90% of the crowd are totally new. You see there’s usually an abundance of prospects and each one might give you business some day.
March seems like a very good month with Maulids, Holidays coming.. Several events are being lined up.. So I’m targeting to attend at least one per week. Trying to push for weekdays as the weekends are up with the workshops.

Yesterday I happen to be at Mendaki Volunteers Appreciation Ceremony and was approached by Bro Fadhli who conducts a Skate Boarding and Bicycle Motocross lesson. Check out his site here. A very niche business he has here as it requires extensive knowledge in both those areas to really teach this Xtreme Sport.
It was also a good time to catch up with the STAR MENTORs which I have resigned from last December and to get to know at least the new Mendaki Staff. I realise I see a lot of new faces there.

I believe this statement has been reiterated for thousands of times by many, but hail the truth. Networking opportunities are always there. It is one of the most effective way to generate new leads, because people are generally open and friendly in a networking event. (As opposed to prospecting in the streets)
Yes….Namecard is also very important. Be generous and give it freely! I always give my clients 7 EXTRA namecards to be distributed to their friends and families….
Then I will say, “Recommed your friends and family to me, and if they get life plans from me, I give you referral vouchers!”
Powerful! Powerful! Very, very powerful leverage tools that you can rely upon! Continue to strive forward and you will reapt more success. Insyallah!
