This is where the action is taking place for Alunan Kasih participants. I went over there quite late last Sunday because I had an event at Masjid Al-Ansar from 10am till 5pm that day. I reached there around 6.30pm hoping to catch a few more participants in actions recording their demos.

Well firstly the place isn’t easy to find but I still manage to find it after checking it out aGoogle Maps before I went there! Well the venue the venue is smack in the middle of RED LIGHT DISTRICT. I had some problems looking for parking cos you know these places are really packed in the weekend. Its like Geylang Serai in the morning..Business over there are really prospering man. OK besides the prostitutes hanging around here and there. I mean the food business, the MAMAK shops. There was enough traffic for good sales. Its really a great good business location. There was even a kid standing by the bridge giving out Singtel Pre Paid card flyers.

Anyway here’s a map to let you visualize better the location.

    OK back to Insound Studios…

Here’s a montage of photos of the Jamming taking place on that day!!

At 4pm today – MUIS Officers, Masjid AN-NUR committee, BY-Left and me ( Got the privilege ) will be going through all the 50 plus entries and we’ll be cracking our brains to figure out which song will qualify for the top 10!!

Well the top 10 will be announced on the 20th of April and from 23rd April onwards – Public can hear the short snippet of the demos and you can vote. The votes will count towards the winners of this competition. Stay tune!!

Visit http://www.alunankasih.info to view a few videos which i manage to shoot.
