What matters most..

What matters, is to have faith.
What matters, is to try and never give up.
What matters, is patience.
What matters, is creativity - Not necessarily thinking ahead of the pack, but what the pack sometimes leaves behind.
What matters, is not that you are intelligent, but someone helped you, and someone helped you.

The process that we go through either we are studying, working or going through life,  we often go through a series of adversities such as being in debt, failing in exams, being kick out or whatever but what really matters is having those lines above.

Have Faith 

Living in this harsh world, life is not going to get easy and what will hold you up is your faith and beliefs. As a Muslim or if you practising any religion, we must first believe in God and whatever he has planned for you. In Malay they called it “Takdir”.. Any adversity that we go through is because He wanted you to learn something and you need to overcome it to earn that thing that you need to achieve. So to the next point..

Never Give Up 

You see how it links together.. In many circumstance we should never give up our dreams. YOU can be whoever you want to be but you have to go through the ordeals to achieve that. There is no short cuts in life and if we know that if we took any, life may turn around on us. Just read any books of successful people, most of them came from a life of Challenges and none of them gave up their dreams. This is what being resillient is all about. 

Patience

Its a key which a few have. In todays world the quick rich schemes are so abundant that we tend to forget that we have to build the foundations to get to where we want. Be patient, it may take you years to get there, so be patient and enjoy that process.

Creativity

Creativity to me is the future. With the astound pace of advance developments, the only way to beat the rest is through creativity and innovation. Be it in any field, creativity is important…

Not necessarily thinking ahead of the pack, but what the pack sometimes leaves behind.

After taking sometime to think, I think he’s right. Most often we always think of getting ahead the pack trying to beat the competition hands down but we forgot about what’s left behind. You never know what’s left behind is the answers to your Destination. So at times, take a step back, let others run pass you and observe what’s missing and what’s needed to be done.

* That how a lot of business ideas/strategies came about. So maybe you can try that out.

Accept help or ask help when needed. I believe you know of many unintelligent people who do not have straight As in the papers but are very successful people in life. Do you know why? Because they bother to ask for help and they learn from it. I guess this point is not just about receiving help but also building relationships, when we help or ask for help, we tend to work with the parties very closely thus building the bonds and trust among each other, therefore developing a resourceful network at the end of the day…
