Giving in a hip way..hmm
At 6pm today i was surprised to see the Oprah Winfrey Show on Channel 5.. I’ve always love her shows…so there i was stuck for an hour sitting infront of the TV..i know its killing me from the inside cos i’m supposed to be out there studying or fighting my way to get a plan done…Ahh..
Anyway the show was featuring Bon Jovi and his life..ok its quite back dated but I was wowed by the rockstar’s life. Not to mention the houses, cars, etc..but it was the people he change and made a difference to that all matters in this world… He was so humble and generous, he demonstrated the power of Giving in a hip way..Its tremendous when you see Oprah almost teared when Bon Jovi gave her 1 million for her Angel Organisation. I’m not too sure what this organisation do but i’m sure it helps out the poor citizens in America..
Even a state so rich but yet there are also a class of citizens which needs help..Dont talk about India or so on…Look in our own country itself, Singapore..look at what’s happening in a social aspect. The rich poor divide grows larger and larger.
One of the main reasons are of course the education level. If the poor people do not want to help themselves with the opportunities available. How are they suppose to catch up…So i guess, an hour of sitting down in front of the tv itself was worth it after all..I thought me about human values again and the reason why i went into business….
A reason so strong that i could not put my thoughts back anymore. A reason why i have to help others change how they think and live and how they should look at the community in different ways. For now i have two things to focus on..The exams and the growing business. (It may not be obvious but its there..). U may not seen me studying but i’ve been ..yeah..happy thought…
Oh God guide us to the right path and bless us with happiness and health so that we can pursue our dreams and help others in our journey to Crown.
