A classical guitarist….

Met up with Jaliboy and the Catsinthecradle (that’s their band name) to talk about the website which they want to make at IndoChine yesterday evening. Well its really an unexpected offer and fortunately i have Maday to help out.

There was also this classical guitarist by the name J Syam. Hmm anyone heard about him? I dont think so right. Well he’s a 34 year old guy who is really passionate about his dreams and music. He’s a rare gem especially within the Malay Community. He’s talent wowed me. Actually i got him to perform during the movie screenings in June but the performance was reeked by the awful equipments but last night at IndoChine, he just wowed me. The way he played and think amazed me.

He is really the very few Malays who are really into professional music and let alone his ability and the way he thinks, he’s really that focused in what he does. Unfortunately the industry does not permit him to be a star because of the lack of opportunities. I hope this does not stop him from going further…

Someone told me this before, don’t let circumstances bog you down, if you dont have the opportunity, create one.
