Alunan Kasih - Song Writing Competition about the Prophet

In preparation for the Maulid this March to May, a series of activities have been lined up by Mosques and several other organisations.
This year Masjid An-Nur is spear heading a song writing competition. The theme as mention above in the poster - Alunan Kasih requires the writer to put in their thoughts and inputs about the Prophet Muhammad.
This competition was only publicised one week ago and the organisers have been getting overwhelming response to it even though it was just publicity via posters and word of mouth.
Imagine songs for the prophet and to educate the public via lyrics and melody… Truely a dakwah in another form… Will we find our own Cat Stevens ( Yusuf Islam ) in the making…http://www.yusufislam.com.
