EO lu kental ah!!

OK i did a stupid thing just now…haizz

It started this morning. I tried to charge my mobile phone cos the battery was almost depleted. Once i put in the charger, to my surprise nothing happen and the phone wasn’t charging.

So yeah, i asked my dad when he came back from work just now if there is any spare battery. There was lah but he could not find it..

OK now i started to be “kanchong” already. Hello there are so many numbers there that i cannot remember and sms that i need to refer to lah. So shit shit shit!!!

Ok so I made my way down to Century Square Nokia Center at around 2.30pm just now. Ok the crowd wasn’t so bad. The queue no was 076 and at that moment and it was 065. So yeah i walk around and had my late lunch alone. After 15 mins later. I came back and you know what queue no 067..wholly cow only 2 persons were done. Sheesh.

Ok so i decided to go down to the POSB bank to deposit some money. While I queued up for my turn at the deposit cash machine, a lady came up to a lady beside me and ask, “Excuse me Mdm, would you like to donate to an old folks home”. The lady beside me decline but me being me i saw $5 in my wallet, took it out and gave her without her asking me. But I ask her where’s she’s from and if she’s willing to tell me how i can donate cheques to them in the future. Ooh yeah she pointed the address which is at Race Course Rd.

This made my day….you know why? Upon giving her the money, she said, “Thank you. God bless you son, may you be blessed in your job and in life”. This is actually the first time i hear someone blessing me with such sincerity. Thank you.

The next moment, the queue in front of me moved faster then I expected. I deposited my money and went back up to the Nokia Center and to my surprise it was already 074. I was like hey i waited for 15 min the queue didn’t move and now..Hmm i guess God really has his ways. Alhamdullilah.

Alright its my turn to be attended by the customer service officer. I told them my problem and they took in my phone to be checked. When she came back with the phone, “Sir, you are using the wrong battery. We tried using the right battery and your phone is fine”, she said. At that moment of blurness I wondered where the original battery went. So I asked her, “Can i purchase the original batteries then”. She told me to get it next door at the retail corner.

I do have the spare phone with me except it does not have the numbers in it. NO contact numbers is the the same as a useless phone. The contacts were more precious than the phone. So when i requested for the new battery at the sales counter, the salesman showed me the battery model.

After paying for it, i opened up the spare phone to take out the sim card. To my surprise the battery was there in the spare phone. For a while i was like what the FISH!!!! I had swapped phones for last saturday reservist. So when i swaped it back last Sunday, I did not realize that I did not put in the right battery.

Alamak i bought the battery already. So dumb and $40.70 gone!!! Ooh well..Look at the brighter side now i have two batteries right. Can use for emergency cases.
