it will come to everyone

The last few days made me appreciate how vulnerable we are…
Before an uncle of mine passed away, he told his close family members just to bury him or throw him into the sea. Being stubborn and un apologetic, he left the world the way he was and never had a chance to forgive the one who truly cared for him.
It was a few years back when i saw him, then he sold away my grand ma’s home and left with the money to Batam where he inhabitated. Since then he was no where to be contacted and reached. Well probably my dad him seen once or twice but never did he want to meet up with grandma, his own mother.
Yesterday was truly the last time i saw him but this time out of the morgue and we (our family) never really got a chance to say goodbye.
At age 57 he left the world in his sleep and was only known to die to his severe heart problems.
Have it struck to you that God really exists. For those of you who did not believe him or maybe free thinkers. Read ON…
On Monday evening, some how or rather i had the urge to connect my home second line to the fax machine but initially i did not attach the phone. From 4pm to around 8pm, the fax machine to sound off and i thought a fax was coming. Wait as i wait but still no fax was printed out.
At around 8.30pm, i decided to plug out the phone from the hallroom and attached it to the fax line, to my surpise the phone rang and when i picked up the “news” came to me. It was from my uncle’s family in Batam. As my uncle was so stubborn he did not get numbers of relatives in Singapore therefore the family in Batam had a hard time reaching us.
The first news, “Cik Ali sudah meninggal dunia di Batam, kami perlukan waris untuk hadir ke Batam untuk menyelesaikan mayatnya.” Inallilawainalilahirajiun..
Initially i thought it was a prank till i heard a familiar voice, Hambalee. Hamabalee came all the way from Batam to search for us. Since most of the relatives in Singapore had moved house and the numbers changed it was impossible to reach us. From what i know, they still remembered my fathers name and they got my second line through the internet.
So then i wonder, what IF i did not attached the Fax Machine. What if I did not attach the phone, will they ever reach us. At some point of time, God really played a part to make it easier for the family in Batam. Without reaching us, God knows what could have happen to the body.
Immediately caught by this news, i spread it around to my dad and relatives. Whatever it was, we got on the first fast craft to Batam the next day and settle the burial issues.
What happen then…wait for my next update..
