Alright Fazli and I have finally decided on the final logo for IslamicEvents.sg. We need more opinions though…Anyone out there care to comment?

Here’s a breakdown on the meaning of the colors:

Red:
RED is the color of passion and force. The purity that drives us to our dreams. The scream which errupts from our throats at the height of an experience.

RED is my long, tresses of fire as they lick past my aggressive form. Radioactive and vibrating, it announces my coming from blocks away. Men desire my RED. Women fawn over it. The RED of my tossled mane and the RED of my Spirit. Alluring, amazing, shining brightly.

RED is true and real. No trickery. No misleading mind games. No pretending to be something its not. RED is pure and unblemished. RED needs no other color to make it complete. Independent and free from restrictions, RED can fly like a hawk. RED can burn the fires of Beltane night. RED can coil and be ready to strike. RED can rattle and hum and bring us to the strength and the boundless creativity we so secretly crave and openly fear.

Yellow:

Yellow is the color of sunshine. It’s associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy.

Black:

Black is the color of authority and power. It is also stylish and timeless.

Anyway when we design it, we did not consider the meaning of the colors..only after, I went into a little bit of thinking and research and wanted to see if it really reflects us as a group..

A little bit of comment from the general public would be great before we launch the whole thing Nov 5.
