The desperation of tapping networks is killing me..
Many of you realise that i’ve been staying in school on certain just to do work cos there’s no internet at home. Want to know Y..read my earlier posts..
So due to that, here comes Ubuntu..wondering what’s that? Its a Linux Operating System. Not sure why they called it Ubuntu but somehow i read from another site that the name was derive from a African name - meaning freedom or something. The name itself reflects the cost of the operating systemm..its basicly free…
Oh yes..finally i decided to install Linux into my system just to get on certain tools to crack WEP Keys. Ok being a little technical here. Wep keys are those passwords that you require to tap into your routers at home or at school else no internet connection.
After many hours of looking through the super highway (Internet), finally i realise that to be a true Computer Networking Expert / Hacker, you really need to know Linux/Unix cos most of the tools are built just for Linux. I’m not saying all yah but most…you still can be a hacker in windows platform though…
Learning how to install the stuff is really a pain in the ass but well it works and to use the command lines is like learning how to use DOS again. Gosh it really sucks since I’m a WINDOWS kind of person. Lazy lah to type those commands.
So to tap the networks and rehashed the wep keys, currently I’m using a tool called aircrack. Still trying to work the tool out as it requires me to get like 500 000 packets…wah i think must wait for two days. Maybe I’ll get it done by the weekend.
