Come to think of it, that its true in one way cos if you don’t try, how would you know if you will succeed or fail.

    Have you failed before?

Back in Secondary School, I used to think that I would never fail any subject or module in school. In fact I would never have thought that I was weak in that particular subject at all. Call me ignorant but those were the days.

It only struck me when I was in Secondary 3 that my English Language grade was getting worse. I had no idea why? It got worse and worse. I failed my English paper for the finals and because of that I was last in class. My goodness, it was a hell of a wake up call.

That was really the first time I felt failure. Never in my life I could imagine that I was in that situation but I did.

Well honestly the English never improved tremendously but I realised that my failure is an understanding of my own weaknesses.

I could have dwell on it but the last few years, I’ve seen improvements because I felt a need to improve on writing. That’s where the need to read and write more.  This blog becomes my space to practice and a place to improve on how I write even though there are still so many mistakes.

Trying is the first step to failure

Well to me not trying is a bigger mistake. As an entrepreneur we have to face mistakes and failure. I personally put myself in shit hole positions sometimes. For example at this moment, I’m already in a few hundred dollars in debt and the banks are already hounding me. OK I know that there a few others who are in thousands of dollars or even millions of dollars in debt. What siah, my problems are nothing to them. Well whatever it is, such failures do have consequences. The consequences can be small or it could be huge. Its the risk that we need to take. I guess its all about how you look at the situation.
