Off to KL and back within one day. I believe this is normal for some of the businessman I know. Some travel so much for business that it has been a routine for them.
So yesterday, was the second attempt to go to KL, have meetings and back within 24 hours. The last I did this was 2 years ago when I went down with my good friend Sufian to the Taharah Head Quarters.
Goodness aint it tiring..haha.. but it was also fun and a way to escape this busy city and seek new opportunities.
Only when you travel do you see how vast the world is and how small Singapore really is.
By the way there were 4 us. Abang Abu, Kumar, Fairuz and myself (the only driver). The trip was more for Abang Abu’s businesses and meetings. Kumar and Fairuz were there just to learn and go around seeking new ideas. I was there to meet the SIFU himself, Dr Irfan.. got a Video Interview with him!

So the journey started at 3am. While I picked Abang Abu up at Lower Delta and both Kumar and Fairuz at Lake Side. Around 4 am we were already past the checkpoints at Tuas and head on traveling the highway. We stopped at Ayer Keroh Bridge where we had intermediate power naps and solat. Sadly there weren’t any shops open yet at 6.15am. I guess they don’t open so early. We were already hungry then.
By 9 am we were at Pudu for breakfast. That was when I message “Good morning KL at Facebook“.
Then we proceed to Pearl Internation Hotel where Abang Abu needed to open up joint bank account for one of his partnering companies which runs a Food outlet.
Then we set off to Damansara Mutiara to meet the Dr himself. We first followed him to a radio station. We didn’t get to sit in to see the interview but we waited at this Cafe Style – Old Town. It seems like Yan Kun Kaya Toast.

Get to catch up with Dr Irfan’s younger Bro. What was his name? Sorry bad memory ah… Apparently he just finish school and is now Dr Irfan’s personal assistant in managing the workshops they conduct in Malaysia.
So while waiting the guys had Ice Cream… My head was spinning then from all the driving and the heat.
When Dr Irfan returned, we set off to a Nasi Kandar restaurant. By then my head was fully spinning and the heat doesn’t help either. Kind of lose appetite a bit as symptoms of heat disorders kind of started to appear.

The reason we didn’t eat at Old Town was because Abang Abu ni tak tahu makan benda – benda lain.. Makanan Mamak jer dia tahu makan.
Anyway we talked about Business then and out of that discussion Abang Abu and Dr Irfan formalize their upcoming seminar.

This logo was created by Dr Irfan himself.. And it only took him like 1 day i think.
Well the seminar will be somewhere in June. No dates fixed yet as they are finalising the plans and getting venues and so on. Baru jer first meeting kan. Perhaps there will be more in between.
Ok so next we went back to Dr Irfan’s condo for the interview. We’ll have to wait for the next post yah!! Come back again tomorrow for updates.
