Rubic Cube

How many of us could actually solve the RUBIC cube? 

By now I think millions of people are able to do so just because of one video created by this young man Dan Brown! That video he created have generated over 8 million views and I’ve learned to solve the RUBIC cube from him too.

But watching the video alone wasn’t enough. I’ve actually manage to solve the cube over and over again when one of my student, Affandi, taught me how to do it. I was just like 3 steps away.. So such videos don’t necessary can solve your problems but what it really does well is to EDUCATE.

So below is the video done by Dan Brown, only a 17 year High School Student. :) 

 

Did you know?

8 million viewers. A dead product can be revived just by one video. I can imagine kids rushing to the nearest store to get a RUBIC cube just to follow the steps. Such a simple video yet it can be so influential. I think the RUBIC Cube creators would be smiling to the bank just because of this video.

Anyway what you see here in this video is actually a form of advertising in a CONTENT version. You don’t really sell but what you do is to educate people. Nothing more.

When Mike Koenigs explained this during the SMART SEMINAR, I was completely stunned. It was so easy and everybody can do it. It shows how powerful videos are even when you are not selling anything. That is where the effectiveness of the traffic geyser comes into play. With GOOD content + MASSIVE Distribution techniques. That is really a powerful Marketing combination.

This is also what I’m going to cover during my workshop next week and that is what i meant by 

“Selling without people knowing that you are selling.”

So how do you that in emails? In your chat conversation and so on..

So you see from My Conversation above, Hazrul came in and gave a suggestion. Was there any intention of selling? Nope. but this conversation will make me remember Hazrul and if I do need the license for Avast Antivirus someday, I know who to find.

Believe it or not. People are selling things even without you knowing it. It may not be just products/services, it may be in the form of ideas and theories.  

So in fact I have to be honest with you. The things that I wrote here, will in a way affect your thoughts and make you slowly think in different perspectives. There’s a lot of PSYCHOLOGY involve in the process of selling and to be honest there’s too much to write about here…

Blogging Partnerships

I’ve helped to create a website for one of my students whom I have featured previously about his passion in flower decoration. Today I stumble his blog and saw quite a few contents here and there. I said wow!!

Well compare his website www.afinasfloral.com and the blog www.afinasfloral.blogspot.com, which site would you follow? I’ll bet you choose the later because its lively and there’s more to read. Well the blog hasn’t had much focus yet but it definitely gave life to his Internet Business.

Initially when Mr Yusri came to me to teach him about Internet Business, I ask him why don’t you ask your child to come? He ask me why? “Simple, kids these days pick up things faster than Adults,” I said. Believe it or not, this is a true fact and once these kids love what they are doing, they will stick to it like glue. Initially he was reluctant in doing so but today you see that his blog is updated by his daughter. Finally a Father & Daughter team.

I found this image from his daughter’s blog. Cute right. Well since the kid is already blogging why not help the dad.

So you see its always better to have someone around in your team that can help out. So now Mr Yusri can focus on the business direction while his daughter can update the blog for him.
