Tips from Mentor Jutawan..
I finally finished reading Irfan’s Khairi’s e-book. The book is great and the advice given by each Successful Entrepreneur is totally awesome. Well the book is written in Malay as its targeted for Malay Community in Singapore and Malaysia.
For those of you who don’t understand Malay dont worry yah. I will translate it for you slowly and jot down my own opinion on it. They are quite a lot of tips and this may take me a month or so to present to you each one clearly.
I will start from Dr Fadzilah Kamsah. Out of all the entrepreneurs in this book, his article is to me the most humblest because everything he does or say reflects a lot on who we are as Muslims.
The question,
Pada mulanya adakah Dato pernah berjumpa dengan kegagalan?
Translation: “Have you had any failures in the beginning?”
The answer,
Extract 1:
If you were to view it through my lenses, you may treat it as failure but I’ve never felt it as failure because I see it as though God haven’t given me my dues yet and I don’t deserve it yet at that time.
Extract 2:
If I had gotten that scholarship at that time, I would have been a selfish person, therefore God has his ways of guiding us all to be good human beings. And when one opportunity closes on you, many more will open.
My opinion:
There are many times that we see failure as failure and we forget that there is superior being which we need to refer to all the time. To get what you want there is no other way but to ask him ( God ). You have to work hard and strive for the best but its up to God to let you have it or not at that particular time. Like what Dr Fadzillah said, maybe its not time for you to be that person yet. You have to work furthermore, study hard or earn more to deserve certain things in your life.
And when one opportunity closes others open. Don’t be too sad when you face a failure. All you know it may lead you to other better things. Insyallah.
