Anugerah Jauhari
Yesterday evening, I was invited by Kak Haiza from BH ( Ekoniaga ) to attend the Anugerah Jauhari Dinner. Anugerah Jauhari is the prestigious award given to the top performer in the Malay Community for the year. Such awards is to inspire others to follow suit.
So who won? The man who started out as a clerk and slowly build up his income and started his own shipping business. Today his company has made over 2 billion worth of income. He is also holding the president post in the Malay Chambers of Commerce. Guess who already?
Well he’s Dato Zain Abdullah of course.
Congrats Dato for the award. Many would say that you do not deserve this, but from a new Entrepreneur like me, we look up to you with deepest respect.
And insyallah someday it would be our turn to stand there and give our speech.
So let’s work hard!!
*Just a remark…hmm I hate saying this but just now the Ministers Speech was crap. What the hell does the ERP got to do with this joyous Jauhari Night? Goodness they really know how to use such platforms just for their own stupid propaganda issues. Come on keep the mood right lah.
So next time you invite the minister to your event, make sure you write the script and not them.
